Behavioral Health Services Policies & Procedures

County of Santa Cruz Behavioral Health Services (BHS) provides specialty mental health and substance use disorder treatment services for Medi-Cal beneficiaries in our community.  BHS and our community service providers strive to offer engaging quality care in a timely manner. We value client collaboration and welcome feedback.

BHS develops policies and procedures to govern its operation and to deliver high quality behavioral health services.  The listed policies and procedures are shared to inform the community of our main services and client protection practices.

Upon request, BHS will provide free oral interpretation or auxiliary aids for requested materials to enrolled clients and their legal representatives.  Please contact your client treatment provider directly or call BHS at (800) 952-2335, if you require assistance or accommodations for reading these policies.
